contact you with the scholarship decision,

provide city level demographics to donors, subscribers, and for our records of impact, and

share your essays with donors to promote fundraising.
The following information below is used to determine data retention policies once you are notified of the scholarship decision.
If you are not awarded a scholarship, we remove your application from our database within three months of notifications. We retain your city of residence to understand the impact of outreach.

We retain your name and essays to promote you on our website, social media platforms, newsletter, and with our donors. We retain your email address and phone number to provide you updates for your scholarship. We retain your city of residence to understand the impact of outreach.
