Mission
The Golden Door Foundation (GDF) is a non-profit organization centered on providing scholarship and educational opportunities to individuals in South Carolina.
GDF focuses on the development and implementation of programs designed to:

engage the community in mentorship and cultural enrichment;

promote literacy, history, and STEM;

equip students with job readiness skills; and

raise awareness of educational and systematic issues present in the community.

George 'Matt' Williamson
Matt served in the Army National Guard. He received a B.S. degree in Sociology from Voorhess College. He received his M.Ed. degree from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Teisha received her B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Science from South Carolina State University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University respectively. She supported the Department of the Navy for two years.
